Don't hate - levitate

So at first I wanted to hate, I admit. When that bass drops, you think - wait, isn't this that whispering song from those Ying Yang Twins? But with everything surrounding the mashup of sorts going on here (complete w/ snaps later on) you fall into it. God damn. Some west coast crunk infused tropical gutter music right here people. Oh, and what's in a name? Well if it's 'Mogadishu Night Life', than a lot. This is some Mogadishu, definitely

Ghosts On Tape will be coming out from San Fran next week for a free show in Brooklyn @ Hugs. Free Asahi from 11 - 1, so I'm not sure where else you'd want to be?

Psychedelic Lullabies

Ever wonder what it'd be like if your mom was a gentle robot who ate mushrooms and sang you bed time lullabies ? I feel like Hudson Mohawke was raised on those songs, so this is his rendition as a grown ass man. I first heard this track when Benji B played it twice in a row because he said it was too short - CLARO ! You're probably going to listen to this one a few times because the first couple will leave your neck and head kind of confused - but yeaaa then you find it. Ah, the sweet comfort of artificially intelligent harmonies. Check out Hudmo for free tomorrow in NYC zuns.
